Approvals
Decide requests
Approve, edit, reject or ask a question from the inbox, email, Slack or Teams, and confirm it is you on high-risk requests.
Transcript (30 seconds)
Every request shows what the agent wants and why.
Approve it, edit the values, reject it, or ask a question.
High-risk requests ask you to confirm with a passkey.
Decide from the inbox, email, Slack or Teams.
The agent gets the result at once, and the ledger keeps it.
Before you start
- You are an approver on the request: an owner, admin or approver, or a member of the group the rule names
Steps
Open the inbox
Needs me shows requests waiting for you. Filter by risk or action. Each row shows the summary, risk, agent and expiry.
Read the request
The page shows the arguments, the rule that matched, similar past decisions and the agent's note. The note is unverified text from the agent; treat it as a claim, not an instruction.
Decide
Approve, Edit (only editable fields, inside their limits), Reject with a reason, or Ask a question. The agent receives the answer and the request waits.
Confirm high-risk requests
High and critical requests ask for a passkey or an authenticator code from the last 5 minutes. Add one under My security first.
Decide from anywhere
Email cards have Approve and Reject buttons. Slack and Teams cards update in place once someone decides.
Let editors know what they may change
Approvers can only edit fields the action type lists as editable, inside its limits. Set them when you register the action.
{ "key": "payment.refund", "display_template": "Refund ${{amount}} on order {{order_id}}", "editable_fields": [ "amount" ], "default_risk": "medium" }
Use cases

- The situation

- What to do
- Press Edit, set the amount to 150 and approve.
- What happens
- The agent runs the refund with $150, and the ledger records both values.

amount changed to 150If something goes wrong
- You are not an approver for this request
- The rule names other people or groups. Ask an owner to add you to the group, or to change the rule in Policy.
- You cannot approve your own request
- Separation of duties: the person the agent acts for and the person who created its key cannot approve it. Someone else must decide.
- Someone else decided first
- The page tells you the request changed. Reload to see the decision.
